Oh lord, shoes. I wear a size 10 or 11 womens depending on shoe make, so men would be an 8 or 9 for me. As for pants, I wouldn't have the slightest clue. I just know I am a size 8 or a size 9 depending on make. So that being said, your shoe size for womens would be a 14 but 15 if you're trying to ensure they fit. Best place to find shoes that big would be to shop online, because stores don't carry anything above a woman's 11 or 13, depending on the store.

its kind of a minefield in general, what is a size say 14 in one brand is like a size 12 in another and a size 16 in yet another. Honestly it is a lot of guess work. I wear 10.5's in mens and about 12's in womens. The +2' is for a couple reasons, firstly heels.... those alter how your feet sit in shoes, the other side is that they are shifting the scale based on that women typically have smaller feet than men. Angel has it right, if you are doing 13's in mens, aim at 14-15, 14 to be a bit small but not horribly uncomfy, and 15 will be a hair large and you may need some little shoe pad things that go on the back. She is also right, 11 in brick and mortar is about the highest you will find, so odds are you will be hunting online.

Well I have no problem shopping online :) But at least now I have a clue about what size I should be looking for :) At least in shoes. I hadn't even considered that different makers have different sizes. Probably because I get a new pair of shoes maybe once a year. I'll probably shoot for a size 14. Maybe 13 if I can find something in store. But thank you both for the input. Now I can start looking around :)

Before I get into the discussion about size, first I'm going to briefly talk about HRT (hormone therapy) which can change everything thing that you thought you knew about size. If you are starting on HRT, it is a good idea to wait at least 6 months, before going shopping for new clothes. 6 months is the basic time length, for hormonal changes to start happening. Finding the right size will take a little trail and error on your part, sometimes the size tag labels on clothes can be misleading, what really matters is trying the clothes on, if they don't fit, then you can take them back to the store. Wither hormones effect feet size is questionable, and may vary from person to person. Anyway, once you start to figure out how the clothes size fits you, then shopping for them will become easier over time.

Guess I am jumping the gun here a little. I'm asking about my letter tonight at therapy. It's been 6 months! :) Hopefully maybe either today or in October when I see her next I can get that going. But for right now, I do have a few tops I bought from Old Navy, super affordable! And they are a little large on me, so really not too many worries there. But I get what you mean Rhonda :) Thanks for the input and I suppose I will wait a while to actually buy, but wouldn't hurt to try things on :)

I have the opposite problem! I'm a small and 0/2 in women's clothing and no men's clothing ever fits right! There is a sever shortage of stores that stock size 26 pants and xs shirts, but even xs is sometimes too big. I'm just too tiny! And I don't plan on taking T so I think I'm stuck tiny.
