I've told my mom,two brothers,and sent an e-mail to my daughter that lives in dallas and explained everything to her so I guess I still have to see what my daughter says. I told them everything from A-Z about it. I was surprised how easily my 87yo mother took it and she said that she will help me out with some of the expenses. WOW I never thought that it would be taken that way so I guess I worried for nothing. I am on my second week but I already feel wonderful with less T in my system. Also I had always hated my smell and that has changed too. Thank goodness and my lucky stars:D

Thanks everyone. I wanted to tell my daughter and she and her family will be coming to my moms house for a visit in sept. or Oct. and I did not want to tell her when she is here visiting because I didn't want her visit to be taken up with my situation so I sent her an e-mail to give her enough time to think about it before she comes here. I got a reply from her albeit sort but to the point. Her is what she said:

Well, that is a lot to think about. I can only say though, do what makes you happy! I just read this on my way into work. A bit of a shocker, but again, whatever makes you happy.

Still waiting on a date to come and visit. Will let you know once we have one. Take care.

I hope you realize how lucky you are, you know why? To have a member of an older generation accept you, thats like you hit a home run in a baseball game. Cause most folks who were born in the 20's and later that I know of arn't accepting of anything but straight. So kudo's to you for being so awesome haha.

I thought my mom would be the hardest one but it was not so. I feel very lucky because i have read horror stories about what some go thru. And I am in Arkansas the last place that I expected finding support. I've found wonderful support here and I found a group called PFLAG here that has given me support at the meeting that I went to. All the people there are what I call REAL and not the uptight plastic people.
