Transgender Support Group
This community is here to support and help the large population of transgender people. If you or anyone you know identify as transgender, this is the place to share your feelings and experiences and speak with others who are going through similar things in their lives.
I agree with madalyn because the truth is that your being transgender is not an addiction and it is most definitely totally irrelevant a comparison. They are not even the same animal, so to speak. One is about gender identity and the other is about sexual behavior.
Accepting his addiction would akin to accepting the fact that he shoots up drugs every day. Your (I have no nouns right now), is using an argument that simply cannot and will never hold water.
You may love him but I tell you this from someone who is in recovery from pornographic addiction, you need to love yourself more and see a way where you can be happy along with your ten year old son.
If he is dead set on continuing on this path, I'm afraid there is not much you can do. He needs to see it as destructive, you showing it to him will fall on deaf ears, specially from the comments he makes to you.
If he needs online porn there is a problem, to say the least. So you need to ask yourself whether you want to be subjected to his addiction or you want a life for yourself.

Your attitude, coming from a place of love for all of you, is a great strength you have.
I had been wondering how you have been doing. I am very glad to hear the sesion went well - that you were able to articulate what you need in your relationship and are standing your ground as you need to. It is very inspiring. Wishing you all the best. Hugs
