Hyperacidity and Chest Pain could be the result of a Sleep Disordered Breathing problem.
People whose teeth force their lower jaw to go back when they bite together offen experience symptoms of TMJ. This same lower jaw retrusion (going backward) problem can also cause the tongue to go to the back of the throat which can cause blockage of your airway when you sleep.

Sleep breathing problems, like Obstructive Sleep Apnea have been linked to High Blood Pressure, which can cause chest pain.
70% of all people with TMJ have Sleep Breathing problems.
60% of all people with Sleep Disordered Breathing have TMJ.
Diseases that are linked with high percentages like TMJ and SDB are called "Comorbid".
