Hi All,
I have not posted on here before but I read a lot. I have had tinnitus since the Spring of 08. I have been thru all the Dr. visits and tests many of you have been thru only to end up with the same conclusion as many of you. I need to learn how to cope. I have tried to believe it is age (menopause) related or an ear wash I had done professionally in 1 ear in 08...today I really don't care what caused it as I just continue to try to cope. It has gotten really loud. Coping is not going very well. A while back I fumbled across the website www.quietrelief.com. A product called Quietus. The reason I keep coming back to it is due to the different ICON's you can click on to hear different Tinnitus sounds. Is there a Dr. that really gets it? It is hard to believe there is after my MANY Dr. visits in the last 3+ years. I hear the shrieking buzzing noise on about a 6-7 scale I believe, in 1 ear (left). I have spent So MUCH $$$ on this I just can't bear the thought of putting more CRAP in my medicine cabinet.
Has anyone tried this?

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
I listened to all of the sounds they have on the website. One of my noises is the shrieking buzzing noise. I have more than one noise in both ears most of the time. I can't hear their "high-frequency humming" at all.
The only other comment I have about their noises is this: They don't sound nearly as bad outside my head as they do inside my head.
Deny, I've had tinnitus for over a decade. At first I tried everything I heard about. It was all a waste of money. The only thing that has ever worked for me is ignoring it. I know that sounds impossible, but you'll get the hang of it eventually. I started by purposefully listening to other sounds -- any other sound -- music, TV, my computer hum, etc. I had a pillow speaker and I listened to classical music as I fell asleep. I'm a pro at ignoring my tinnitus now. I don't even notice it unless I listen for it.
