For now, I have a date with a hot young thing named Brittany to see the 8pm showing of "The Duchess"; I need to run to get cleaned up and buy a sack of sour skittles before I go. Duchess is the period piece in which Keira Knigtly (rail thin English actress) plays the role of Georgiana, The Duchess of Devonshire. It's not getting the best reviews but I absolutely love the customs and scenery.

So why would something that cost $49 be of interest to me? Is that just a jab at me for buying a scenar? Would you like to share with me some of the things that you have tried for soo many years. You see, I, like a lot of us are new to this site so with you just bashing everyone doesn't tell me anything to whether or not something could work. How do you think research gets done? What could be said that you would ever believe? I am telling you that I definitely feel better and you refuse to believe it? I am not selling scenars or anything else so what is my gain? You have said in the past that you would believe someone who was on this site first and then gave results. Well, a lot of people have read my journals during the time I was hurting the most and ready to commit suicide and now you go back on your word. I guess I shouldn't care whether you believe me or not. I am not one to sit back and just hope for a cure someday. I am doing something about it right now. Can any of you say that when your T is high during the day that you can just go and do a treatment without medication and within hours your T is much lower? Well I can. I do it all the time. Although times are fewer b/c i feel like I am getting better. If noone cares about this then tell me b/c I have no problem leaving. Being on this site is good but sometimes it can have a depressing effect too. Hearing about people who have had this for years and years and still cannot cope. How good is that for your spirits? Depressing? Stressful? In which all of these things can increase tinnitus. If anyone would like to talk send me a message. I don't need to display any more actions.

There has to be another site for all of this. PLEASE FIND IT!

I'm not a pessimist I'm a realist just like Snowrider. The reason we question people like the Dr Broms, Zephiloyds, etc.... is because they claim they cured tinnitus and the fact is that unless the cause of a persons tinnitus can be cured the tinnitus itself cannot be cured. It's not being negative, it's being concerned for people chasing pie in the sky treatments. It hurts me to think of how much money people have wasted on buying scenars and other devices because somebody claimed it cured tinnitus. Scammers make too much money off other people's suffering and it's wrong. Best remedy for tinnitus at this point is KNOWLEDGE. Just my 2c worth which is probably unwelcome.

Yes Greg I understand and agree with you but Snowrider discourages those who are trying to help others. This is a site to help and find new things out there but all snowrider seems to give is his criticism. This discourages people like me to not waste my time and give what I think is valuable information. I feel I do have valuable info. and noone seems to care. Something that has helped me from suffering everyday and is being ignored. So, this shall be my last reply to anyones comments. I will experiment and get better on my own. Thank you everyone for your help in the past and I hope you all find what you are looking for.

Jobo, I am very interested in what you are doing. If I thought I was competent enough to use the Scenar without making myself worse through malpractice on my self, I would do it. I would love to get rid of that high ring - man the world would be so different for me. Please don't run away.

Describe exactly what you did with your Scenar - you might even post a picture of it - buying one when you have absolutely no knowledge of the thing will be tricky.

Also, did you have to modify it - the other guy said he bought additional parts and rigged it. Rigging is not my specialty.

No rigging or changing of the device is necessary, if you read my website it is all detailed there

My problem with these "cures" are there are no studies done by reputable organizations to verify their effectiveness. I have been on many other boards where people have tried many many things and simply got tired of spending their money on cures that didn't work. I have tried every herb known to help T and none of them did squat. The only thing that ever helped me was white noise and my own self getting over the noise and not worrying about it. However if someone else wants to try a cure go for it. Maybe someone will find something that actually works. I am always interested in reading what works and doesn't work for people.

Hello Z, you're a superstar - I've watched you on You Tube three times now - you have a lot of hits - I think you're known internationally now.

I will go back and watch the film again - it's still there folks - You Tube - type in tinnitus and he will pop up.

SnowRider80 is the reason I quit this group. He is a pompous ass and he is not trying to be helpful when he expresses his opinions. He is snarky, snide, and rude. He shouldn't be allowed to post on this site and I have reported him before. The administrators don't seem to care that he has upset multiple members by his rudeness. He is the reason why I don't actively communicate on this board anymore.

Which sucks big time, Ear! I'm sure I speak for everyone here (except maybe Snow) when I say that we miss your input and support.

Please consider coming back! And Snow? This is the last place anyone wants to come to get beaten up. You are entitled to your opinions, but please keep the negativity under wraps. If you are doubtful about someone's post, that's fine, but we are grown ups here; we're perfectly capable of doing our own homework, and forming our own opinions if we have doubts.

I sincerely believe Snowrider is looking out for the greater good of our ringing, screaming community. This new "Yale" claim now seems to be false. Their web site disappeared(???). I honestly wait for Snowriders comments when a BIG claim is made by a newcomer. If these BIG claims are worth their salt, they'll stay around. Zephlyoid made big claims and he's still around. Does anyone remember "tallguy" (I maybe wrong with his name) who claimed Arches Tinnitus Formula worked for him? Where's he? There are several others.

I could and maybe should question Snowriders tact, but the someone could very well question why I'm now wearing brown pants with a green shirt splotted with mustard stains and only one sock.

I kinda of look at it as some of us are being good cop and Snowriders being bad cop when a new claim is made. I think the bad cop routine in these cases is very necessary. I know from private correspondence with several in out t community, that are vulernable people here.

I have a Scenar too and use it on my Tinnitus. I have not cured my tinnitus but I have quieted my tinnitus to very comfortable levels using Scenar with no other treatments other than taking my usual vitamins. I still work in a noisy environment and I have found the settings on my Scenar that will quiet it right down after work. It is just a matter of minutes after my treatment with my Scenar and my Tinnutus is at a soft ring. Loving my Scenar! I do not post much here any more. Not because I don't care about you all but I have found something that helps me and I do not need much advise now that I have relief with my Scenar. I hope one day to wake up and it will be gone. But for now I will take my REAL relief that I have found with the help of others from this site. I thank you all and will be back from time to time to see how you all are doing. If anyone wants to know more about my experience with my Scenar just send me a message.

I was looking for help and support when I found this sight several months ago and got shot down for some of newest treatment that seemed and continues to be promising for me. I won't mentioned it again b/c I can't stomach insults a few rude and insentitive people sent my way at that time. Take care of yourself. You sound genuine. I'm doing a lot better. Some people don't know what support is.
