You right on, about your suggestions
Shekinah
I am trying some herbal combinations, to get me through the night.
White noise is the way to go.
Also take some calming herbs before bed
I hope that the switch, is the right thing for you. It sounds like you have a good thing going for you.
You surely don't want to ruin your sleep.
It seems lower doses of melatonin is better. Less than 3mg. so I will split the tablet tonight and take a lower dose.
I am prescribed Ativan for anxiety but it's not for daily use. It does help me sleep great but I am prescribed only so many pills and i need to make them last.
I did the valerian some time ago but didn't like the way it made me feel, had vivid dreams. I don't want crazy dreams.
I tried Tylenol PM the other night and I felt like crap the next morning.
I was doing ok on the Hyland's "Insomnia" but it's not doing so much for me now.
I do have white noise on.
I also read that MELATONIN + L-THEANINE s a good combo for a sleep aid. so I am going to try it tonight.
L-theanine is an amino acid. can be found in green tea in low dose.
I am trying to avoid sleeping pills and more prescribed meds.
5htp Tryptophan
Valerian
Melatonin
Passion flower
L-THEANINE
GABA
I going to give it a few days, then update everybody on my results
It sounds like you are on the right track
