I am very seriously considering trying TRT. I have an appointment with an excellent audiologist in a few weeks and by the literature she mailed me, it seems as though TRT is the best option now. As many here know, I've had t for almost 30 years but only these past two years has it been severe. I really believe I should have better habitated to this t by now. I really believed that habitation would occur with or without TRT. From all the posts I read, TRT gets far and away the most praise from real people posting.

My question, especially to those who have done and are doing TRT is, how much do you think TRT has helped you habitate (ignore, tune out...)your tinnitus as opposed to not have done the TRT treatment and let time naturally take care of habitation?
