I have had tinnitus for about 3 months now. I am 37 years old and I have high freq. hearing loss. My T did not start until I had a bout of bad colds. It started in the left ear for a month until a caught another cold then it went to the right ear. Now it is in both and hovering over my head most of the time. Just like all of you I have been to every doctor out there. The last specialist put me on an anti-depressant (imipramine) which has lowered the tone slightly. Some days are still unbearable. I was wondering if anyone has seen the video on youtube.com that deals with using scenar to treat tinnitus. It is the fourth video down (search under tinnitus first). I joined this guys forum and he seems legitimate. You can also go to his website (zephiloyd.com) and read his story. He claims that he had tinnitus and used this scenar for a few months and it was gone. He is still experimenting with this device. I am tempted to buy one on ebay but would like some input from others with tinnitus. Please check out this website and give me your opinion.

I have been reading about the scenar. It sure sounds promising. did you find one on ebay? I do not know which one to buy. He does sound legitimate.

I have emailed him several times and he told me which one to buy. The cost was $1500.00 the cheaper ones do not have a high enough range of frequency. It sounds promising though, doesn't it?

Hmmm, it would have to be not necessarily a sure thing but at least very very promising with some results to back it before I would pay that - I am saving my money for a pretty sure thing

jobo8080, thanks for the information on scenar. I am going to keep looking into that. I was also suprised at the number of videos on you tube about tinnitus. Let me know if you get a scenar and how it works. It does seem promising. Earitated.

Hi, I have had scenar therapy, though not for tinnitus. It works for shoulder pain and so I am going to visit a local clinic
and ask them their opinion on use for tinnitus.

Does anyone know of ant Scenar practioneers in the USA? I couldn't seem to find any while researching Scenar. I think it is wiser to find "doctor" who uses this device than to just go out and buy one.

JohnK, I second that question. Bentleyfox can you tell us what kind of clinic you have gone to for treatment with a scenar for your shoulder? Can you ask them what kind of device it is that they use so we can track down other clinics that may use those devices?

I was told that scenar is very popular over in Europe and it seems to be slowly making it's way over here. They say that using it yourself can't hurt you because it is made for home remedy. Either I try and maybe lose $1500 or I lose my sanity. Which could be worse?

didn''t go to a clinic that time.I learned through a friend that there was someone who had a scenar machine. I have since moved, but have seen that a local Natural Therapy Clinic is also advertising it along with their other treatments( although it isn't on their website so maybe thay have given it up.see wwww.ringwoodhealthclinic.com

I its still offered, I am thinking of trying it for my foot, on which I have hallus rigidus( arthritic big toe joint basically) and which following tripping up and banging it hard it has got inflamed. I will ask them about it for tinnitus when I go there too as they have a tinnitus specialist.

The home devices do not have the characteristics necessary for this treatment. Also if you are considering going to scenar therapist for your tinnitus, they would not use the technique I used. My technique is direct and the indirect techniques they would use have had patchy results. It would also take a number of sessions to get results, but if you can afford it, try it. Zeph

Hi, It seems in my case I've tried about everything and if anything, the sound has only become more pronounce. most all, I just miss sleeping as I once did and hope to improve it

Have been learning what I can on russian scenars and found a RITM scenar-01-NT after much searching. It arrived non-functioning but thankfully all the cost refunded except shipping; 460.00. Now seeking another one but can't risk another unsure seller. Is anyone have a reccomneded seller for these? Thank you
