Go on a strict diet of very bland food.. No starches no sugar, NO SALT.. NO MSG!...
No coffee , no tea.. Meat with nothing on it, vegetables with just a bit of UNSALTED butter.. Try it for 2 weeks,, Maybe you will be one of the lucky ones, whose T disappers.. It happens for some that use this diet.. I am in my first week of it, but I have had several minor "cheating" incidents.. I hope to stay with it and see what happens.. You really do sound like your T indeed has food triggers.. Try to go bland just for a few weks... bob
Thanks,
Sue
comb. last night. I don't know if anyone else had cervical caused tinnitus ?
Good luck. :-)
I agree with you Pat, I think you must stay as healthy as possible and monitor what we eat, and stay busy. Maybe try and find the triggers for yourself and keep yourself in the best mental and physical health as possible.
Noise, I agree some of the most popular treatments are very confusing. :-)
Since I have had worsen T, now for over a year, the fears of it being a symptom of something serious has lessened a bit.
However for what ever reason, when I have the ringing constant as I do now, I seem to associate the symptom with an illness, or something just "not right."
And the "not knowing" the cause of my T, bothers me tremendously.
Altering my life wondering if the cause is from this or that, as many of you know,is far from an easy task, and leads to frustration,me anyways!
I do agree that eating healthy and keeping fit of course is a benefit, so will get back on track with that, since I do have control over that.
I do know that I have been waking up with hot flashes lately, even though I am past menopause, I am 55. My doctor stated hormones can still always be changing. So then I wonder could hormones be part of my T? Errr, I just want to know! (chuckle)
Well today I am kind of anxious, more than usual, and I am of course thinking about it.
I tired tapes and white noise, but that bothered me more than just hearing my T, for some odd reason.
I do have neck problems, but have had issues with that for years, and my neck has not been problematic the past few weeks. Also, my T., did improve for months, but hey, ya never know right?
