ANYONE??????

I don't know what to say. Mine has been raging since day one so I didn't have sedation to put it there so I guess you can have raging screetching T with or without sedation. How long ago did this happen?

I have had mild T for about 3 years but ever since I had the colonoscopy it has been greatly increased. At first I thought it was the stress of having the test but I read that certain meds can increase it. Just wondering if anyone else had this happen and if it will go back to a low T.

Anytime youre put under there is always a strong antibiotic in the Anastasia to prevent infections. Antibiotics are some of the *worst* offenders causing or worsening tinnitus. I would bet thats whats happened. For those who already suffering with tinnitus is it imperative to be aware of what EXACTLY is going into our bodies at all times. It is wise to check each and every med to see if they could make your situation worse, and you cant depend on doctors to tell you the truth. They dont know squat about tinnitus and till tell you it wont harm you. Thats a damn lie. Dont believe it until you can check every single medication, and make an informed decision concerning the risk.

It's a good idea to educate ourselves as much as possible when it comes to tinnitus, because you can bet doctors and medical science will not. This disorder isnt even on the radar.

Thanks for your info. NO it has not gone back down and it was really low compared to when it started 3 years ago. Darn! I had no idea that sedation would affect it( not that I would want a colonoscopy without sedation). Well it seems it's always something.
