I got the email also. Who knows whether or not this treatment will work? I certainly don't, but I keep hoping and I will follow this in 2010 to find out. I won't make assumptions either way. I am just really heartened to know that there seem to be so various researchers working on curing/treating tinnitus. I have to believe that, with so many resources and so much money directed at that purpose, that they will find something effective soon. The market now knows how many people suffer from T and are willing to pay for a cure/effective treatment. The money motive is always a powerful motive, and it will likely be the reason that a cure is found.

I totally agree. Now that t is getting so much more attention, it's just a matter of time before a definitive treatment or cure is available. The Dept of Defence has given out more money for war related conditions that include tinnitus. But as you say money talks and there are millions up for grabs for the researchers with the best t treatments.

How does this differ from neuromonics, or does it? I'm guessing that neuromonics is a neuro stimulator hince the neuro in the name. I may be wrong. I hope this is something different and better.
