Pulsatile tinnitus

This forum looks pretty quiet. 


Anyone out there dealing with pulsatile tinnitus and having some luck with solutions?

pulsatile tinnitus is practically pathognomonic for increased intracranial pressure. This can be exacerbated by obstructive sleep apnea which most people have to one degree or another. The solution is treating the OSA and the ICP.

Wow, @Sophiasmom06! I appreciate that, I will look into ICP. It was never mentioned to me by 2 G.P.s, 2 ENTs, a Allergy doctor, an Audiologist and my Sleep Doctor.

Sleep Doc did do the apnea home test and it showed only mild apnea when I sleep on one particular side. Insurance won't cover in-house sleep study unless home study comes back without any results.

Oh. Most important, I had CT Scan for sinus-related issues during this and Sleep Doc ENTs that reviewed said there was nothing of concern. So, I can imagine ICP was ruled out?

    I am suffering from the inability to cope with ordinary every day things.  From my housework to watching tv or reading a book.  I get palpatations, nervousness, at the moment my heart is palpatating and all I am doing is typing this.  I am so scared its silly, I just want to stay in bed and just get up for meals and coffee.  Not that that is going to happen.  At the moment I have my daughter...
