Bravo Precious if you mean "reach out for help" not "reach put for help." But if you really mean reach putt for help I know many who find golf therapuetic. Golf used to make me want to wear a tight wite suit.

It's so good to hear you tell of how you are reaching out for help. My Mom always kept everything to herself and when she blew it was a volcanic event. She hardly ever reached out and many would have been glad and able to help.

I went to a tinnitus support group meeting sponsored by the ATA for the first tonight. It was so good to see others with this same afficition. Common suffering is a unique bond.

Thanks for sharing and T has had psy problems for me too.

Yes, I meant I had to reach out for help. Nails too long. Today I start the neurotih and benzo except the benzo is ativan not klonopin.

precious,what kind of problems, if you dont mind elaborating? I cant get passed the "what Ive lost feeling"and with my lack of focu, I dont believe i can half way recoup, because I cant cope.I tried all that cognative behave therapy, and it just doesnt penetrate my mind set. one therapist said "things dont have to be perfect. in this country thats B.S. your credit has to be perfect,job results, etc... its USA protocol to demand perfection.. even in alot of marriages. we say these things but yet promote the exact opposite. any thoughts?

This condition called tinnitus causes one to be depressed. Several years ago, I went to a therapist because my boss suggested it and it free where i worked. Well, my friends could have told me what she did. She did not even know how stressful this can be - really did not know what it was. If you feel like you can't live with ths and you can't sleep, you need to see a psy. I have been seeing one for 3 years but yesterday I took my research and asked to be changed so he did. I take a lot of medicine but I added one today that is talked about on tinnitus sites. I hear the loud noise but it is not bothering me like it has been. One month ago, I tried to end my life because of this but this time he saw that I needed more help. Some can do it on their own but I cannot. Any more questions, let me know. I know sho much about drugs that I could probably tell you what you need.

Dear Precious, I am so sorry to hear that you are having are rough time with your T. I know exactly what you are talking about. I wish there was something I could do to help you. I am glad you asked your doctor for help. I know that when you are not feeling well it is hard to communicate and it can be hard to reach out. Especially since most docs do not understand the situation and what T. can cause emotionally and mentally. Keep buggin your doctor. If he doesn't work get another one. I know it is hard but you have to be proactive in your health treatment. Docs now days are a dime a dozen and some aren't worth a dime. I don't waste time or moneuy on one if they don't take me seriously. Keep looking until you find one that gets it. Medication really helps me and if that is what I have to do to survive than so be it. Good luck and please write to me if you ever need to talk. We are all in the same boat I just wish we could all get some relief from this hell they call tinnitus. Earitated.

Earitated - thats good. The ent dr. can't help. This Psy will do anything I come up this and he is only 5 min away. hope you are ok.
