You know I've dropped and added foods in an attempt to keep the t down, but most don't really seem to make a difference. But I can tell you right now, as I suffer today, that PIZZA is a no no. Not sure why or whats in it that causes my t to go nuts, but it sure does. Doesn't matter if its restaurant, frozen or home made. The next day I am loud. I've been under pretty good control lately, but a couple of slices of pizza, and Whamm! At least I know to give it up, or at least accept the buzz when it comes the next day. The other half (beer) doesn't really affect me as I have heard it does others. I guess I got lucky. No PIZZA, but all the beer I want. Good luck everyone

Love pizza, but every ingredient in pizza is practically a no-no. Cheese may be the worst as it has high degree of Sodium. I found it's best to avoid cheese burgers as well. The sauce has way way too much sodium. Pizza has salt added-sodium. The dough also adds to the t. Plus there are glutamate.

An alcohol beverage such as Chianti, actually seems to help my t. Therefore I go for a salad with fat free dressing, baked wheat bread without glutamate, and Chianti.

I found that the next day, more often then not to be quieter t. Plus with some exercise and you maintain that healthy weight.

I wonder if eating things with a lot of sodium such as pizza has anything to do with the fact that too much sodium can dehydrate you and dehydration can make your ears ring worse. The reason I say this is because when I am hydrated well, such as when we moved at the end of July in hot weather, I drank a LOT of water and I had 5 good solid days of pretty low, and very tolerable T. Dont know, just an opinion. But if pizza does it for you, then you know to cut it out of your diet or be willing to to have higher T for a day. Good to see you on hear Dave!

Yes my favorite food - breaks my heart! I have found that if I geet a low sodium whole wheat thin crust - low sodium chees and put veggies on it and a little cheese I am ok. Its not the pizza I woould love but at least its the thought! one Beer I go into teakettle mode and the next day is terrible! Glad to hear from you Dave hope you are well!!!

Very good point about the water and staying hydrated, Sugaboog. After 4 years of this stuff, I think that you really hit a key point there.

I used to have a serious problem with pizza. Afterward I would get really sluggish and tired. Come to find out I have a gluten problem. Really sucks, luckily I discovered my wife is the worlds best gluten free cook! Gluten free pancakes/ waffles any morning I want. Her bread is extraordinary!

Pizza is the one food my diabetes doctor said not to eat. It probably raises glucose levels which raises the T. I think diabetes or high blood sugar have an effect on T
