New- my only symptom

After dealing with irritable bowel, I solved that going gluten free. Now the only reasons I'm on dailystrength are for depression, the forums, and the occasional symptom of other things...such as tinnitis! I have had this mildly my whole life untreated but I want to treat it now b/c it comes in conjunction with my only complaint lately: dizziness/vertigo. It seems to be menstrual related but sometimes not. And I also get dizzy and lightheaded. I also frequently have sinus problems and the doc has frequently looked in my ears and said they are quite waxy.
So I think I will go home and put that ear wax softener oil in there, take some vitamins, and rest. But this vertigo is really getting to me, it feels like the room spins.

stefunny, doctors can clean the wax out for you. It works better than the softner. That(wax) is one of the things that started me on my down hill trip to hell (tinnitus). In the beginning I also had vertigo. Sinus problems also cause this entire cycle of problems that complicate tinnitus. I hope this is a temporary thing for you. There are some exercises you can try to get rid of your vertigo. I forget what they are called. Search the internet for vertigo exercises. Very simple and they may help if your problem is due to crystals lodging on the hair in your ears (one cause of vertigo). Good luck and I hope you feel better.

Good luck finding one that knows any damn thing. Go to the American Tinnitus Association web site. Look for doctors in your area. They know the doctors in your area that may have some experience with vertigo/dizziness and tinnitus. They also have a lot of information about Tinnitus. You will need to read up on the subject before you go to a doctor. So that you can ask the right questions and be pro-active in getting help. If you have already been through IBS the you know what I mean about being pro-active. Good luck.
