New ANM Treatment

I am guessing that by now most/many people on this site have heard that ANM Medical has started making their tinnitus treatment available in Germany (began in February). On the website (anm-medical.com), see "Download of Therapy Providers" in right hand margin for list of doctors in Germany currently providing the treatment. The roll-out of the treatment in other cities in Europe will begin later, I was told by one of the doctors I emailed at ANM Medical. There's no date given for availability in the US or Canada.

So, my question is - does anyone have any connections to T sufferers in Germany who are using this treatment, so that we can find out if it actually works? Because, if it does, I'll be making my way over to Germany or whichever other Euro country to try the treatment! The drawback for long distance people like us is that you have to be monitored by the local ENT to adjust the treatment to get the best results for your particular T, and that process usually takes about 3 months (if you're wealthy enough I guess you could fly back and forth, but I'm not in that category!).

If anyone has any updates on the ANM treatment, please keep us updated. Thanks.

Have done some reading up on this and it sounds very interesting. One would hope it get's to the United States and other parts ASAP.

sandra there is a german tinnitus board that someone has posted a post from on the yuku tinnitus site. they said that they had good results from it. But i dont remember how to get to the site and you have to translate all the posts. im sure that the reults will show up sooner than later from this. I would wait just a little longer before i board a plane though. i think if they have good results in europe, it will be expanded in the US in no time, its not a med, so the FDA would have little problem clearing it. If they dont get the results, it wouldnt be worth your money anyway.

My husband is going to Bonn from Australia next month. I will get him to talk to one of the doctors on the list. We should get a sense quite soon as to whether this is the real deal.

Lowedt - don't worry, I won't be hopping on a plane just yet - I can't afford it! Seriously, though - there've been so many so-called treatments for T that I will wait for reviews before I even start to make any plans. And you're right that if this treatment really works, doctors in the US will be offering it in no time.

Berenice, it would be wonderful if your husband could try the treatment while he's in Germany, or at least talk to one of the doctors offering the treatment to find out the real life results s/he has had. Keep us posted!

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
