I myself had the best improvement when i quit this board so i do believe the brain needs rebooting bu not focusing.. i firmly agree with that as a fact so you are doing the right thing.
Why aren't I? Good question, maybe i like to suffer......or maybe the T has gotten to low a lot of the time i'm not quite as insane from it, not even close thank god.. so yeah stay away!
All the best!

My audiologist told me the same thing.
But I have had the T for 15 years, so I know exactly why they are telling you this.
Do what they say, try not to focus on you T. You will get better.
May God Bless You, and Watch Over You Always.
IDK why audiologists always think there are "kooks" on here! As my father said, people in support groups often know more than doctors!
Thank you for promising to come back and let us know how you are doing. And thank you for the prayers!! Wishing you all the best.
I come on here because I find a sense of security knowing someone really understands and can relate to this condition. Most people do not seem to understand. The can't, because they really do not know what it is like. If I am frustrated or need help, I know I can get it here and at least get some input.
God bless you, I wish you all the best,
Sandy
I joined a couple of other social groups within DS in which some wonderful friends from this t support group joined me. Therefore we are in a social setting, not discussing t, but completely understanding each of our issues with t. Therefore no longer focusing on t, but always have another to lean on for support during any difficult period.
Wish everyone to be feeling better and finding comfort.
