I spend $2800, for the basic model, with three programs. One program had just wite noise
Second program had white noise with the chimes.
Third program noraml hearing.
Widex can work for you, but if your tinnitus can get loud, like mine, in the right ear. You need to go beyondtinnitus.com
And have your audiologist create a pitch and tone for you tinnitus
I run that program through my walkman, and have just one speaker witch goes right into my right ear.
I leave the left hearing aid in, so I can work, and answer the phone.
My left side, does niot have bad tiinnitus at all.
I run that program in my right ear, because you can increase the volume, to relax your tinnius, when it is running hard
The widex system, cn't help much, in that area, if you have a bad case of tinnitus, like I do, in my right ear
If my tinnitus is running about the same, which it does, most the time, then I just use Widex system, and it fine
I would like to hear from mandie also because I'm in the same boat as you. I don't want to pay big bucks for something that won't work for me.
My tinnitus is pretty loud these days so maybe it won't work for me. Please let me know if you hear from mandiegrace or let her know we'd really appreciate hearing from her again.
Thank you,
Pat A.
