For years since sudden hearing loss in colleage, about 1976 or so, I learned to deal with hearing loss and knew nothing about tinnitus at all UNTIL last year, 2009, when I read a book by Tony Randall who had it. OH SO THAT IS WHAT THAT IS. During the past decades, since I did not know what it was, I learned to cope with it and DO NOT HEAR IT until I think about it ... as right now. Odd, it can be most distracting but I have dealt with it for so long that I can turn it off.
Benefit: keeps you off the Jury list. Get a hearing report and send it in whenever you are called for Jury duty.

Maybe if the internet wasn't here more of us would be ignorant and therefore not bothered by T. Maybe our quest for inormation has been our biggest trigger. Makes you think doesn't it?

I agree mairi2, sometimes ignorance can be bliss. On the other hand knowledge can empower us. We all need to accept that for most of us T isn't going anywhere & we should find the best stategies to cope with it

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
