To be clear, do not spend a single cent on any of these "cures". They have no effect whatsoever.

To anyone new to T. Get help and advice from the forum and forget the ads.

Maybe they could make a sticky to advise people? A criminal offence sure. A special place in hell for anyone that would prey on and profit from desperate people, absolutley.
It pained me at first to see that my best "clicking" Google ad, is one that starts with "Tinnitus is Your Fault." I talked with one of the experts that work with me on my site, and he said that the "blame" pattern and self-torture pattern is quite prevalent in tinnitus patients, so he wasn't surprised by the "success" of my most accusatory ads.
I've gone through extensive online debates now, because there actually is a way out from tinnitus. I am on my way, and I have met several people who have cured themselves of tinnitus.
Frankly, saying that tinnitus is incurable is at least as much of a offense as promising cure.
My site does not promise "a cure," it is for people who wish to learn how to cure themselves. Actually, the word cure doesn't apply as much as the term "learn to let go of tinnitus" applies.
I will be doing some streaming Web TV shows on the topic, and it would be wonderful if the DailyStrength community would check it out.
So, with regard to spending money, my membership site is a paid service, and it is a refuge from all of the advertisements that support "free" websites. Still, tinnitus people have real issues with spending for themselves, and it's really an unfortunate situation.
$180 for useless hearing tests is OK, thousands for maskers, is OK, but a couple bucks here or there to check out something with potentially questionable value, is not.
What I mean is that I really recommend allocating a budget for yourself. If you want to buy some eBooks, then do so. I've read them all and am in the process of reviewing them online. If you want to buy some miracle product, then try it...and have a laugh!
I've learned that there is a way out from tinnitus, and it can be learned. But just purchasing an ebook here or there and a product and a treatment...all willy nilly...no real plan...that will likely lead you to failure. As it should. However, beginning with the true intention of healing, it is important to start taking some real steps.
The community here is awesome, and I don't think I can mention the name of my site here, but it is a teaching site. You can learn about the parameters you need to have in place in order to navigate your way OUT of tinnitus.
While that might sound goofy, it is actually the way. It's not a product, it's a process, and unless you've applied the appropriate process, you have NO PLACE stating that tinnitus is incurable. Not logically, not scientifically, and not ethically.
So, there is a way out, and I am looking for people who want to take part.
Sincerely,
Dainis
Best Wishes

I don't know about this. It makes sense that a tinnitus person would be locked into a state of fear. That's a part of tinnitus. But to spend $37 on an eBook is kind of like an adventure in supporting yourself. No, of the 3 eBooks I purchased online, only one provided any kind of real information, and that is the one by Julian Cowan Hill. Still, I don't regret purchasing the others, because they were cheap and written from a fairly positive perspective.
I don't think we need to be "wary" of "so called" cures. I think we need to proceed boldly and apply what works. I think that confidence in ourselves and what works for us is vital to our improvement.
Also, I sincerely advocate spending on oneself, even if the first few steps wind up disappointing. So, yes, try a few acupuncture treatments, try some massage, go here, and go there...but geeze, if you think that a series of, I don't know, 10 acupuncture treatments or 5 bottles of X or TRT or 10 chiropractor visits or (insert your chosen treatment here) is going to CURE you, then you are climbing up a ladder without rungs, without safety gear, without a team.
As a person with tinnitus, it is safe to assume that your "fight or flight" response is in "high gear." Actually, it is in "overdrive."
You can get out of fight or flight, and that will significantly reduce your tinnitus. Try it out yourself. Learn to get out of fight or flight more.
So, you need an organized treatment plan, and one that makes it absolutely INEVITABLE that your tinnitus will back off.
How can you put that together?
My first approach was to make a plan that addresses the following five levels of well-being: physical, emotional, mental, financial, spiritual.
Julian Cowan Hill has his own method that he uses in his practice, since he healed himself of tinnitus and teaches other people to do the same thing.
We will be doing a live TV show on the web on Feb 16th at 2PM GMT as a demonstration of what you need to do to ensure reduction of your tinnitus.
It's not "a cure," it's just putting all of the necessary components into place. We, as people with tinnitus, need to make sure that we take care of our physical and mental health. That's really it.
Good body work. Good mental work.
Body:Mind
Flesh:Sprit
same thing.
make sense?
The symbolism of "the cure" is amazing, since we need to learn how to move towards health and not away from disease.
So, I will not "be wary" any longer. I will be bold, secure, and confident. I have paid tens of thousands of dollars to heal from tinnitus, and I feel that I am very close to complete "cure," however, my cure is a journey, and not a treatment.
And now, I am aligning myself with Julian Cowan Hill's methodology, and it is working.
