Sometimes I'd like to tell people that I have tinnitus but then I feel like there's no point. I've told a few people and they don't really get it. What's worse is sometimes a person will say I get that sometimes or I have that and they don't understand why I'm suffering and they manage to get along just fine. It makes me feel weak. I guess that's what makes this forum so great. Everyone on here gets it. I wish there was a different name for what we have. Severe tinnitus should be called T2 and then we could say ,"I have T2". And people would ask what that is and we could say it's a debilitating brain disorder that affects our lives. Then they might understand.
