John, great question, actually, the site started as an experiment in "donate what you want," and people joined and then didn't even watch the most critical videos. I mean, I can understand joining, watching, and then commenting...or not liking the information...but to not even look at it, sheesh.

Also, I have to pay for the information and for the participation of the doctors. Julian Cowan Hill's eBook is not free and it is a critical part of the site. I've already had members within the trial period complain that they have to wait for their trial period to be up, because they want the book right away.

The question then becomes "how do I do anything for people, who then turn around and are unwilling to do anything for themselves?"

Hope I answered your question...it's coming down to the unfortunate reality that people seem to equate price with value. I mean, maybe I should make the site $99/month. Then, maybe certain people will actually watch the videos and make the necessary changes in their lives to reduce their tinnitus.

It's funny, because as I write, I realize that, right now, I am not even taking care of myself as well as I should...and I have access to all the best information!

So, John, 3 months free is a no-go. The practitioners wouldn't go for it, the members would just join, forget, not watch the videos, and then leave. I'm not guessing that, that's what actually happened.

Also, my scholarship recipients, most of them send a really emotional email, they get free access to the site, and then when I check their profiles, they've hardly visited the site.

So, I am learning a lot about human nature and "tinnitus people," and it's very interesting, you know?

I would like to say that if i had anything that would help OR CURE people with tinnitus. I would post it on here FREE!!!!!!!!!!!! Just think about it if you helped someone or alot of people they would want to give you money, for helping them.If they want to throw some money my way fine but if not just HELPING SOMEONE WITH THIS AWFUL T WOULD MAKE ME HAPPY.THE JOY OF HEARING OR SEEING SOMEONE "CURED" OR HELPED WILL BE THE BEST THING I COULD RECIEVE.

HASN'T ANYONE EVER HEARD IT IS BETTER TO GIVE THAN TO RECIEVE.

I feel the same way you do about being happy helping people with T if I was capable of it (like dainis is claiming). And like you I would do it for free. I've always liked giving to people . Wouldn't that be a wonderful gift?

What Dainis is talking about is cranio-sacral therapy, and there are plenty of therapists around if you wanted to give it a try.Like I said on another post, I found one not far from me in Marina Del Rey. She gives a 1 1/2 hour massage for about 100.00. That's less than you'd spend on a full body massage! SO if you're interested in trying that, just go for it and find someone in your area, instead of paying Dainis for his site, and spending time watching videos, and then having to pay for the massage anyway! Just google that particular therapy and your area and see who pops up. I personally have no clue if it works or not, but there are a lot of therapists out there doing it.

Dainis wrote elsehwre that Cranio Sacral Therapy only gave him relief from his tinnitus for a brief period if time. My guess is that the relaxed feelings from a good massage would help anybody briefly forget about their tinnitus. Why he continually flogs this Julian Cowan Hill as some sort of tinnitus cure-all expert is truly astounding.
Dainis, this is why nobody want's to pay for an eBook written by Julian Cowan Hill, and if this guy is a critical part of your site then this speaks volumes of why nobody will join.

I tried to offer the info for free and ran a free website for many years.

Leslie is wrong about the content of my site, which any sincere investigation will show...so Leslie...I invite you to watch the Cure TInnitus Show (for free), or if you don't want to...then don't...that's OK too.

I give away a tremendous amount for free. Not just for tinnitus, but also in other areas. Frankly, it is one of the reasons I have tinnitus. I give away way too much money, time, energy, advice, help, etc.

...and interestingly...I've done so with the kinds of people who need so much, who take so much, or they are so unaware, that they give nothing back.

And that, is a type of tinnitus pattern.

As is judging others without informing yourself.

As is projecting.

Tinnitus people are often overwhelmed.

So, folks, honestly, we really need to do learn to take care of ourselves.
