It swells up the sinusus and makes pressure inside your head, which causes the T to sound worse.
I was just at the ENT to that reason yesterday.
He has given me some liquid steriods to drop is my nose every night before bedtime.
I have nasal pylups sp.which can cause you to block up and get infections. The steriods will hopefully shrink them or it is house cleaning in the sinusus for me. (surgery)
I have used Calritin with no problems as well as Allegra.
Hang in there, this to will pass as the pollen does.
You may want to consult with your doc.
A big hug to you,
Sandy
I think that I will try Claritin. I am at least relieved to hear that allergies do make T worse, because I have had a definite increase in the T, since the pollen count has been so high. Hoping that it passes soon as they say we are getting rain on Sunday, which should clear the air out.
