Maybe fixing hearing is fixing tinnitus in some people?

Here is a reply they sent to someone on RNID. Itlooks promising but it looks like there is a lot of unforseen travelling and expenses. Chloe was the girl that recieved the treatment and had great reults.



emailed RNL bio concerning Tinnitus and got this reply. I've since emailed again asking for speculation on whether this particular treatment whilst restoring hearing function would then secondarily remove tinnitus also. I guess they'll only know once they treat someone who also has tinnitus.

Chloe was not suffering from Tinnitus. This was not done under clinical trial. This kind of treatment is very expensive because stem cell are isolated from your own body and expanded in state of the art GMP facility. More over you have to travel to another country to receive stem cell injection because stem cell injection is not allowed in your country yet.

Wow, that is expensive!!!
Maybe in time it will become common here after our trials and etc. are complete.

I would think the cells being corrected would help people with T if it was caused by the cells being affected.

I had neck surgery almost 10 years ago. The price tag was 30,000.00.
Insurance covered it 100%. 20,000.00 to cure severe t does not sound unreasonable by that standard. If it becomes a medical procedure, does insurance cover it???

Also, if someone was paralyzed let's say in the legs and stem cells can restore movement in the legs, is it reasonable to believe that sensation would also return to the legs? Is it reasonable to also think that if damaged cells are repaired in the ear, that tinnitus will dissappear?

It has to offer so much encouragement to so many with severe afflictions, that so much research is really going on. A month ago in the Philadelphia Inquirer Sunday edition there was a front page story of several people being helped with a gene therapy that they went from legally to no longer legally blind.

With adult cells being used, ethical concerns should vanish...
