recurrent tinnitus, does that mean it goes away?

Hi all. Sorry...i have been trying to hold my career job....Senior Financial Analyst and get work done around my new home of one year....with Tinnitus stressing me during both occupations....oh....please......the family...that is most important....how hard it is to deal with that as well....young man (5), and two young girls (9) and (11) and my wife (she'll hang me if i give her age....although she would do me a favor.......just kidding. Sue (Suera) my frequency loss is at about 4,100 according to my Audiologist. It happened from an explosive blast (concussion).......bad fourth of july explosive........yep....not a big fan now.....of fireworks. It is a lower, howling like sound, but it changes to machine sounds, sea shells, air let out of a ballon, or just static, like the type you hear beteen channels on the radio. Whatever the sounds, its loud. I hear it in quiet settings like in my closed off room or outside....even with natural sounds...and it has gotten worse over the past two years of having it. Just makes me wonder if it can continue to get worse and and what point i wonder i may have to take action into my own hands....god forbid.

There is a major research report from the US Government sponsored program that i participated it that i found on the internet that is available to the public. I found it two days ago on the internet.

The scientist i met with was very promising that his team was on the verge of "real changes", "improvements", "efficacy in tinnitus treatments" from what i recall. But please, these are my memories of my experience .... please email me at "orozvik@yahoo.com" and i will email you this government sponsored, public report of year one results from the two year study. I will say there are so many technical terms and soo much science to digest, but what i can add is that this is the way out of Tinnitus...so you should read it to your best ability as you will regain hope for a near term solution.

I'm sorry Muscle Boy I guess it doesn't matter what the frequency if it's intrusive. I just don't understand how some people can mask with a fan in their room...to be that would be a Godsend. It is very sad living like this with kids, my oldest just went off to college and I feel so sad at how much T has taken from me the last 3 1/2 years. Try to enjoy those kiddies as much as you can as the saying is true they grow up so fast.

Can you please post the study here as some can really understand the science of reports, McMurdo and Daniel, and maybe they can reinterpret it for us laymen;) Thanks for sharing.

You're only 20 -my shit didn't start till I was 28.
