I have a cyst on my thyroid... should I be worried? I go to the doctor (GP) on Friday. The nurse told me it could or be cancerous or not.

I'm scared!

Hey Good morning I just got back from my first chemo today..You should see a endocrinologist and on that treats thyroid. I see the best at Washington Hospital Center now..I was not so wise early on..and now I have it again so see that one!!!..Much love and be strong Im here for you..Vic

I just went to another primary care (I moved so I had to go to another doctor) He felt my throat and said that I had swollen lymph glands and he referred me to an ENT. He said my throat was a little red but it didnt look too bad. But he didnt know what to do because the antibiotics about 5 wks ago didnt help. This is why he referred me to a ENT. I go on Tuesday so we will see. SO we will see. I am hoping it is just allergies or an infection.

Yes, I have several nodules, including a calicified nodule that is about 8 mm, but they want to wait 6 -9 months to see if it grows.

The left side of my throat feels very congested, as if there is some swelling there, so I am going for a second opinion next week and hope they will do a FNA.
