The Importance of GOOD shoes

I always knew good walking/running shoes are vital to your body's alignment. I waited longer than I should have to get new shoes. They will arrive within the week, but until then, I must make do with what I have.
Hopefully these new shoes will relieve the foot pain I have been experiencing for the last month or so.

WHY did I wait so long?
I think I'm just going to write a note on my calendar every few months that it's time for new shoes.

Spring is such a natural motivator for walking. I hope everyone is enjoying the time outside and appreciating all that is good in our world.

My hip lets me know when it is time to replace the shoes. If the were not so costly having 2 pair to switch off every couple of days would be great.

I can identify! I just replaced my sneakers also and I wished I had done it sooner but the new ones leave something to be desired anyway. So I'll be looking for new ones off and on for the next few months and finally buy some later rather then sooner.

It's not easy choosing treads for flat feet!

I know what you mean, it took me a long time to get new shoes this time around. I have size that is not common. I really did not want to order online and looked and looked. I ended up ordering on line. I bought two this time around.

It is summer here it is hot!! But I am enjoying the walks in the mornings.

I hope your shoes arrive sooner than you plan.

Wonderful reminder! I also just got a new pair of sneakers, I've been breaking them in all weekend.

Good point to buy earler than needed so the old pair is around for some relief.

I just got new sneakers too. Seems to be the time of year for new ones. .I have an older pair that wasn't worn much since it hurt my back , back then. So , now I have two pairs to change off to. Plus the old pairs.

Whoot woo!
New shoes came on monday, so I've been feeling an extra hop in my skip.

They're not expensive shoes, so I'm making promise to myself to get another pair sooner rather than later!

I always put off buying new shoes because my old ones feel comfortable , but you are right that the body's alignment gets pushed out of shape as the shoe breaks down. Thanks for the tip ,,,shoe shopping this weekend .

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
