I would like to nominate Marie, (Mysooners) for this because she fell while walking and hurt herself badly but she got right back up again and kept on walking!
I would like to hear other stories from people who had the courage to keep going again and it doesn't have to be with walking.
I have one! Years ago I was an amature mountain clinber climbing bear mountain in S. Waterford Maine, got 3/4 of the way to the top, slipped and went tumbling down. I spent overnight in the hospital with a concussion and many bumps and bruises. Two weeks later, went back to that mountain to climb it again. After what happened before, my knees were shaking but I knew I had to overcome my fear and face it! I also wanted to find my glasses which were lost in the previous fall. I never did find my glasses, there were so many leaves they could be under, I went as far as the point of where I fell and had no interest in going any further. I quit climbing after that and started climbing a different mountain and that was when I started walking, jogging and running my way to the end of a marathon but it took me 20 years to reach the point where I could do it.
Hope everyone has a great week!

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...

Hugs to All,
Marie
You are did good going back to the mountain to tackle it. Congrats. Thanks for sharing your story,
I continued to walk and do exercises after i was injured (pulling something exercising). Until i was told i can't do it anymore , had to rest the area to heal it as i kept injuring it. Now i am having problems getting back into it as i'm still sore .. i don't know how long it will take to fully heal but i am working on it.
have a great week
