Kid needs an intervention and 30 days in a W&T Rehab facility. If W&T were a real place, I'd toss in grenades and slam the door shut. What a zoo! Worse that UK Parliament!

Now OMB that is saying something - Ours is not all that great either but a little bit better than they are right now....... at least the language is not tooooooo bad!

I just don't understand how any intelligent - or even half intelligent - adult can behave like they do over there in W&T and no matter what I would not be sticking around there as they all act like they need to be certified.
I have seen nut cases behave better than they do. Talk about vicious and hateful? They take the cake.

But what can we do to rescue our friend? And it will need to be an intervention as I don't think she wants to be rescued.

Speaking as someone with experience, interventions are useless and counterproductive 99% of the time. You can pressure someone into taking some kind of action like going to rehab or drying out, but they fall back into old habits. Until they are ready and want to recover, they won't.

Well I'm going to tell Chris that we miss her and that the Party Room is not the same without her. One never knows what will work.

Actually my brother had an intervention from his boss - and it worked very well. Of course when it comes from your boss you tend to listen.

By all means, tell Chris we want to see more of her here, but I do understand Cherie's point. Interventions are about caring. Knowing that someone cares makes you feel guilty for doing wrong. You can guilt a person into taking action, but you can't guilt a person into genuinely being ready to accept help.

But doesn't everyone feel guilty about doing wrong? Unless you are truely ready to stop for yourself, I would think it wouldn't work.

If you are hauled off to whatever facility they take you to and you have no choice, now that would just TEEEEEE me off. :)

I was away for a couple of days - and no I was not in the War room - not even on DS as a matter of fact.

OK hootch is here and I brought some dips and crackers and some veg sticks to go with it.
I have been spending some time with Hugh - scratchy beard and all.

Boy oh Boy, went to go and get a swimsuit for the hot tub and the winter was not kind to me, sorry about my fat ass. So i will have to pass on the chocolate, but not the hootch, and veg sticks. If i eat to many someone better dunk me to stop. LOL

I brought some of that flavored salt that you put on the rim of the margaritas to give it some extra flavor, I have watermelon and strawberry so enjoy

manny, you can have all the veggie sticks you want.....please, take mine! I am sticking with the tamales, chips, BBQ and now we have taquitos!!!! Yea. But we will probably dunk you anyway...lots of aggression here sometime. Shhhhhh, you know those that I am talking about; the warriors.

Actually kid you do look a bit like a dart board at the moment. But that's OK - I have lost my darts so will just throw chocolate at you.

Carly I think most of that aggression is left over angst from the war rooms.
I don't like going there much and as I am rather attached to Hathani will never post as I could end up getting reported and banned. They are pretty vicious folks there.

Please keep Bobbi in mind though as despite what she did with the hot tub and the bodies she is a friend here and she is pretty injured right now after falling down the stairs a second time. Her son is due home next month too so hopefully she will be feeling better by then.
