The Party Room Community Group

A group that is open to all adults who want to have fun and enjoy themselves. A place to laugh and just have fun times together. An on-going party will be held and some games, jokes (please keep them reasonably clean OK?) and anything fun. This is not a place for serious discussion but a place to come and have fun when the rest of life starts to get us down.

I have to do everything in 4's. 4 chips and 4 dips of a chip. (I never double dip. lol) 4 peanuts and 4 cheetoes. Everything has to be even.......even 4 sips of a drink. That's the best one. lol.

I use mugs or 6 ounce glasses for everything. soup, ice cream, hot or cold coffee, cereal. lol.

When I am able to eat a sandwich it has to be cut in quarters. Sometimes I can eat two quarters of them. But if I am trying to eat an open face sandwich I eat it in the round. My favorite is a plain piece of bread and plain American cheese. I eat it in a circle. lol You know we never know how odd we are until we see it on the page. Personally, I don't see anything odd about any of it. :-)

About eating I find it strange how some finish a portion of their meal before they begin something else, such as finish all the peas before eating any of the potatoes.

Anyways; I take seven sips of water from a fountain for the thought of good luck.

I read pieces of books or magazines out loud, even if people are or aren't around.

That is a very odd thing....but we do have our very own odd things. lol I think that is sweet and kind of nice to read your books out loud.

I won't stop reading a book no matter how bad it is. But I will admit that I did do it only once......and it was really bad. I still would like to go back and finish it. :-) It was a book club book and the worse ever. It was so silly. Cannot imagine anyone would have chosen that one.

actually it aids memorization.

try reading the ENDING first, sometimes that is all you need. its the "suspense" that bothers you. i do that allll the time. i like to know where its going beforehand. i read books, any which way and then i read it again in the order the editor(s) put it in.

No, isn't the "suspense" all about reading the book?? I don't want to know the ending until I get there.

I don't even like to read the inside cover. :-) I want to be surprized. It's like seeing the end of a movie and then starting it.

Not sure if I've ever had pickled herring....especially with sour cream. I hate the stuff (sour cream) unless it is made into a dip with all the fixings.

I'm sure I mentioned this before...or maybe not. I have to eat everything in fours. Four chips, four dips of four chips. Four sips of anything.

I am waiting for the time I can get 4 days in a row of sleeping. lol

    It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a  pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...
