The Party Room Community Group

A group that is open to all adults who want to have fun and enjoy themselves. A place to laugh and just have fun times together. An on-going party will be held and some games, jokes (please keep them reasonably clean OK?) and anything fun. This is not a place for serious discussion but a place to come and have fun when the rest of life starts to get us down.

Fortunately/Unfortunately stories

Ok here are the rules - we start a story or a sentence with "fortunately" and the next person adds an "unfortunately".

i've seen this one be a lot of fun. Ok I'll start with an example.

Fortunately my puppy came home after she ran off last night. The next would be - unfortunately she brought 7 other dogs with her.

Ok - First one = Fortunately I was all packed for my trip last night because my alarm didn't go off this morning.

next is an "unfortunately" that relates to my comment.

Fortunately I was a licensed Helo pilot...


Unfortunately this pilot said I wasn't insured to fly his helo.

Fortunately I knew how to read the language it came in.


Unfortunately, Helos require one hand on the cyclic and the other on the collective at all times and they have no autopilot. That made the manual hard to read.

Fortunately there was a book holder right there on the window - so I frantically threw the manual into the holder.
