i'm feeling pretty good today b/c i slept really well with these cool temps and windows open. makes a real difference for me to get decent sleep. my pain is under control. i'll just kick around here today. i really want to get some little crafting space arranged where i can just sketch or a little something creative.

Kim, when I was younger I never had a problem with pain during my mammograms and my breast were much larger back then than they are now that is for sure. So I was surprised and asked the nurse why it hurt and she told me they do a much more indepth scan now. It felt like they were making pancakes. :-)

Seren, that's great that you are able to get some sleep. Sounds like the cool temps does really make a difference. Did you find some space and get some crafting done?

OK, not to be such a downer as everyone else was in a good mood. :-) But no one is here (at home) for me to vent to. I did talk to the DH earlier.....and if you notice I did put "the" in front of DH for a reason. D is not standing for Dear today. I'll explain later.

It seemed like one of the worst days ever!! Yesterday my swallowing anxiety was at an all time high and I was having problems just swallowing naturally....and that means my own saliva. Thought I was going to lose my mind. I couldn't drink water and of course I couldn't eat. I have never taken a Xanax ever before when I was staying home and I rarely take them anyway. But I told myself I could not go through another day like that so when it started again today I took 1/2. It worked for a few hours and then stopped. Grrrrrrr

I know it's not the end of the world when your cable box is messing up but I could not watch anything because my TV would pause itself about every 3 minutes. I told the DH that I didn't need a new box because I didn want HD. My TV was fine the way it was and it's big enough and very clear. But nooooo he had to get an HD for the bedroom and in the family room. So now we have to get a new box and go through all that crap to get it programmed......again. He is at the ranch until Friday or Saturday so I just hope it works more than it doesn't because I am not going to pick one up.

As usual, I aways put thing off until the last minute when I can make up my mind about what I need to do. I am struggling with whether or not to spend all this money to put my RE license back to active. I would need to complete all my MCE classes and pay all the board dues to be active again. Very expensive; especially if the RE market is in a slump. Tomorrow is the last day so of course I decided to wait until today to decide. Mind you, I've had months to decide. But I still had to pay to stay inactive. I called because I couldn't get online with them so I called. They said that they will take the calls in the order received and the hold time would not be more than 40 minutes. 40 minutes!!?? Are you kidding me. By the time I got off the phone after holding for 50 minutes I finally completed the update after 80 minutes. I was so afraid that my battery would die before completing the process.

I am so sorry that I am writing a book but I am just so frustrated with electronics. I don't want or need a new computer, but DH is insisting that he buy me a new one and I may not win that battle, but I will stand my ground to not get a new cell phone that he insists that I need.

Again, I do apologise for the book I wrote and I hope no one dosed off but I would understand. :-)

carly, no need to apologize for venting. i'm sorry that things came together on you all at once. when things pile up on me like that i get totally overwhelmed myself.

i hope your swallowing is better. sorry the dh is pushing all this new stuff on you. technology is great, but no need to have every bell and whistle.

clearly, you weren't the only one who put things off with the RE board. good idea to keep your license active. better that than go through the whole thing again. how many classes would you need to take? that's taken care of for now anyway.

i hope you can get it across to dh that his "upgrades" are NOT what you want!!

Carly my sis is in real estate in California and she says the market is good. Glad you renewed.
Sorry bout the television. My HD messes up with Dish and I just go to regular channel. I could probably walk you through getting both HD and regular channel but hubby will be home tomorrow. Message me if you want and I will give you my phone number. There will be no hold time. When I have gone for MRI they just have me put the Zanax under my tongue. No swallowing.

I was so relieved to have that behind me. I would have had to start all over again but the only thing I need to renew to active is 15 hours MCE. Technology is great but when things go wrong it has a way to make a mess of everything. He has respected me not wanting a new cell phone eventho he still brings it up now and then.

I need a new box anyway because this one is broken (some of the time) even if I don't get HD.

hippy, I hope your sister is doing well in CA. I always spell Zanax wrong. :-) The is no swallowing because it does melt in your mouth. It taste horrible but I guess that's the cost of doing business. lol I really do appreciate your offer of help....with no hold time. It's worked pretty well today. Hope I didn't just jinx it.
