Morning Hens,
PT this morning...dreading it. Still in a flare. No serenity I didn't do anything to my knowledge to start this flare it just came on. Yesterday was the best day i have had so I was hopeful I was getting over it but then I woke up this morning to horrible pain:( I was going to finish cleaning house today. I got the kitchen and bathroom yesterday and the laundry... Maybe I overdid it.
Empathy to answer your question about the mammogram it was a breeze. But then again I was comparing it to 20 years ago. 20 years ago it hurt so bad and I didn't even have fibromyalgia back then, so I was really dreading it the other day...expecting it to hurt real bad, but with this new technology it wasn't bad at all. Over and done with very quickly and no pain.
So what are you girls up to today?
Hugs to all

89FToday it is again another hot day but cooler then yesterday. Since this is August it is to be expected in my neck of the woods. All the grass is yellow and flowers are starting to go to seed. I need to water my garden but this time of the year I'm so over it, which is weird because all my plants have their fruit or veggies.Sandra, this time of year reminds me of your Dad and his toms. OMG , i woke this morning, well to honest in the night too, my back where the physiotherapist pressed and poked feels just like ive been kicked in the back with a pair of boots. Ive been real sore, but ive persisted and managed my exercises the best i could.
I was a bit cheeky at work and found myself easier jobs and kept quiet and out the way of the rollers with all the drinks on, that is until about an hour before finishing, i ended up having to doing the wines and beer's roller.
Ive asked if i can do my 12 hours in 4 hour shifts, fingers crossed...

Excuse me while writing grandkids came. I am a bad at multi tasking.

I agree Kim mamo not as tortuous as they used to be. I sure hope your PT session doesn't make you feel worse. Glad you felt better yesterday. My body sure feels the system moving in to lower our temps. Getting old is no fun. All the aches and pains with the temp drops. Have to say a few cooler days will be nice though.
Hope you have your cooler temps by now.
Empathy fingers crossed for you on the four hour shifts...that you get them. Can you doctor or Physcio put you on weight restriction for work so you aren't lifting the cases of wine and such. Not good for your back. Sound like she really got into your muscles and bruised it a bit. Hope you can have a hot bath and feel better.
Janie welcome home. Your trip sounds nice. It is always nice to get away and see new things. Relaxing and you get a recharge and forget about things at home. There is a lot of beauty in the state of Utah and I love Colorado Springs and the surrounding area. I think my favorite is Manitou Springs.. Coming home is nice to have your own bed but the transition for me is always hard. It takes a few days for my head and heart to catch up to my normal surroundings. Missed you lots.
