What's on your agenda for today?
I don't have any plans for today. Not to go anywhere that is. I bought some cute material yesterday though that I want to play with. It was a bundle of fat quarters with whimsical cats on them:) going make a journal out of it. And I bought a metal binder ring to sew in the spine to make the cover reuseable. Love my cats. I had a friend I WA that collected cat stuff for her kitchen. I would love to do that but I never find anything cat related for the kitchen:(
Anyway, whatever you do today I hope it's enjoyable.

89FToday it is again another hot day but cooler then yesterday. Since this is August it is to be expected in my neck of the woods. All the grass is yellow and flowers are starting to go to seed. i'm waiting here for the manager to show up for her inspection. i managed to get the place in good order, but i hate sitting around and waiting. i wanted to get out before the heat gets too bad, but i'd have to lock penny in a room which won't happen. so that just makes me more antsy. even a time frame would be nice. i'm going to make a curried chicken in the crockpot, so i'll get on that soon and just as i mess the kitchen up she'll come!

Kim the fabric sounds cool. I am going to send you an 8X10 picture of cats if you like for your kitchen. I will post it on here first.
Serenity curried chicken in crockpot sounds good. We make a recipe from Betty Crocker on top of stove. Would love a crockpot idea.

hippy, i went ahead and did it stove top b/c i like to brown everything anyway. hope you enjoyed a relaxing day. still sending up prayers for your uncle.
the apt manager did the inspection herself. of course, she didn't come until 4:30 and i'd given in and just started cooking. i was glad my neighbor was here keeping me company as i prepped, so she was here to back me up. i think i passed, but i could get a citation letter later. everything but the bedroom was in good shape and that was because my stuff wasn't put away from the weekend. she noted a number of things the maintenance guys need to do.
