Morning Hens and Happy New Year,
I was up so late. :( my son went to a new year skating party that wasn't over til 12:30 , then dh came home at 1:20 then Dave came home at 2:00. Littlebit did let me sleep in til 7:00 though this morning...guess it was late hours for her too last night. I'm going to be really tired today. Makes for a long day.
I wish my son would get off this vegetarian kick he is on. I am so worried about his health. He does not eat healthy enough to be a vegetarian. The kid doesn't like vegetables!! I've been buying him veggie burgers and protein shakes. I just don't know. I keep hoping he will kick this and stop!
Think I will start a book today.

a quick happy first day of the year to you and all
taking down tree and then working on addition. snow melting and really no weather here at all. last year only 4 inches of rain/water and our usual for a year is 8. so buuild we wil.

Happy new year! Altho not so happy at the moment!
I fell asleep and missed Big Ben chime and the fire work display on tv.
Today i had to go to work and it was busy.
Its done nothing but rain all day.
DH met me after work and we got pizza, we got home soaked through only to discover they gave us the wrong pizza! And no we couldn't eat it, it was incredibly spicy, i hate spicy, all we ate was the stuffed crust, lol.
dix, has your son been a veggie for long? I worry about my sons health, he's quite overweight, he eats things with way too much fat and salt in them.

Empathy just disappointing when you get home and don't have what you think you have. Glad you were able to salvage some of it. Bet someone else got your pizza and they were disappointed also.
Janie down with the tree sounds good. I always like more space but miss the lights. Glad yöu aren't having rain so you can work on the addition. I know it will be nice when finished.
I have today and tomorrow to pack so I am getting started. Talked to an old friend who lives in Florida and we may see her and husband on our way home. It has been two years. I love friends that you can pick up where you left off.
Southern tradition is blackeyed peas and greens. Didn't do it this year.
Emp sorry you missed ringing in the new year. And did you call the pizza place and let them know they got you pizza order wrong? They might have offered you a discount on your next order or even a free pizza! Jacob hasn't been a vegetarian long...two or three months.

We had black eyed peas and cabbage for good luck today:)
