Morning hens,
I got another good nights sleeps. mIL has gone home. We are told we may get to go home Fri. Dh was suppose to get soup this morning but the dr. Forgot to write it in the orders. Now dh is discouraged. It's been 7 days since he has ate anything. How long does he thing he can go without being weak?!!! He is walking really good.
My BIL left me $100.00 to eat on....cafeteria food is so expensive I have already used it all but $10.00. My son came the other day and bought a salad and it cost him $15.00!!!!! Just for a simple salad!!!
O hallelujah they just brought dh some jello! Juice and a sprite. She was suppose to bring him broth back in and she didn't. She just went down the hall without bringing it back in. If she had been 7 days without eating she would have been having a fit!

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...
the snow is coming down here. i took a little walk bc it's been so long since i've been in it. i've been unpacking the last boxes into bins. i slept well, too, finally so i woke up with energy and a better attitude. took a walk for a break and to clear my head. it's so hard to see some treasures broken. my dad packed and he'd cram anything anywhere. i did find my angel collection. i'll have to get out the superglue bc a couple of things lost their heads. hoping to make some chili later, so trying to pace myself.

I do remember how expensive it is in the Hospital cafeteria. It wouldn't be so bad if it had a good taste.
I was soooo disappointed when they canceled my eye surgery for today. I had already started taking the drops for pre-surgery. I should have it 3 weeks ago. Well, the first cancelation was mine because I had the flu. The second one was because I still had the cough. But this third one really threw me. They shut down the Surgery Center because of the weather. :-( But it didn't freeze until 4 P.? I would have been long gone from there by then.
Now I have to wait until Feb. 4th for the next surgery date. :-( My eyes are really paining right now.
Seren, so sorry you had some treasures broken. Hope superglue works for you. I'm sure your Dad meant well. I wish superglue would work for me when I lose my head. lol Grrrrrrrr.
Serenity I say thank goodness for superglue. I have a few treasures repaired with it.
Carly how unfair for them to cancel your early morning surgery. Sorry you got the freezing rain. Yesterday as I was listening to weather channel it seemed many southern states were already preparing for freezing rain, sleet and snow. Seems Arkansas is in a bit of a drought right now. Fine with me because the cold is enough.
Back to your surgery, I hope fourth time is charm on Feb. 4th.
