Morning Hens,
Any big party plans for tonight? I'm going to play cards with my kids. Bake a cake or some brownies. I was suppose to go to a party but I'm not going without my dh. He will be home tonight but he will be too tired. He couldn't find a load because of the holiday. So he is coming in for a day or two and then leaving back out.
So how many of you are staying up all night to see the ball drop? Drinking champaign ? Kissing the person closes to you? Lol
I want to apologize for not being a good group leader. I don't want anyone to feel ignored in this group. I will try to do better. At any time you have a problem or concern please PM me about it so I can try to address it. I care about this group! I care so much about each of you! It is really hard for me to get on in the evenings because of that is going on here but I will start trying. It is also hard for me to reply to everyone sometimes. My mind just doesn't want to work and I have to get a pen and paper out and really work and writting things down and I feel like I am writting a book just to get a reply written. But I will try because I don't want anyone to feel ignored. I have always read everyone's replies. That is easy and fast for me to do....keeping up with everyone. Replying is so much harder lol.....especially in my house.you would think with teen boys that it would be easy but it's not, they fight all the time.
Also, I need to know if you guys want the group to grow or stay intimate like it is? Let me know pls.

I dont think you or anyone should feel under pressure to reply to whoever has posted before them. That for me takes the enjoyment out of it and just makes me feel guilty and worry. I like to feel that its ok to write freely.
Sometimes i miss someone out simply because i cant touch type, and while i'm typing this and taking forever, normally someone has written a page and clicked submit reply! Its only when i'm done and hit submit reply i see someone has snuck in while i was typing. At the moment its just you but when i'm done there will be someone else before me!
I like the group as it is, thats not to say i wouldn't welcome new pple.
Just tv watching tonight, we watch Big Ben and all the fireworks from the comfort of the sofa! I know you dont get the atmosphere, but you also dont have to worry about getting cold and your feet aching and worrying about getting the last train home!

last night my mother called and invited me to the traditional southern new year's day dinner, then she extended it to tonight. my cousin is living with her and isn't my fave person, but daddy's going to be there for new year's dinner and possibly my niece and nephew since my poor sister working on a flight to mexico...ahhh. i'm not going to worry about this mess today. i'm going to pack and relax and enjoy the ringing in of the new year.
