The pest guy put out bait yesterday in my bathroom...ants swarmed it! It was disgusting!!! I had piles of ants in the bathroom. They are suppose to take it back to the nest but all I saw them doing was pile up on the bait...eat and die there. Guess I'll see.
This sure is turning in to a long winter. Think I am going to the Salvation Army today. I am looking for old board games with paper in them like bingo cards, monopoly cards ect. Then to the library to see if they have any magazines.
That is going to be the extent of my day.

89FToday it is again another hot day but cooler then yesterday. Since this is August it is to be expected in my neck of the woods. All the grass is yellow and flowers are starting to go to seed. ugh, i hope that takes care of them. now we have thunderstorms coming the next two days. oh, a full week of spring will be so welcome! that sounds like a fun day to me. my library closed their sale section and put up a coffee bar.
i've been up since 3:30 with this aggravating sore throat that acts up in the middle of the night. the mobile market is here til noon so i'm going to walk up to that and get a few things, then the resident luncheon is later. my mother is going to bring my father to the house for dinner saturday so i'm going to spend the night with her friday, maybe saturday. dad's mobility is getting worse so it's a two person job to get him out of his wheelchair and i want to see both of them as well. it'll be nice to get away from here a couple of days.

we normally get ants in the summer when they come into the kitchen on the work surface having sniffed out the sugar. What i hate most are flying ants, do you get those?
Sore throat, i hate that, lots of ice lollies : )

Kim, I sure hope that you get rid of the ants… I myself can't' stand them especially in the house!
Serenity, I must say that rain sounds good.
We got 3 inches of snow last night. :(
I also hope that the sore throat goes away, they are always such a hassle.
Empathy, I am sorry about the business being busy but it is sure great to have a job… I wish that I could work out!
My birthday was great and yesterday I had to go to my sister in laws dads funeral..only 73!
Today has been my only day to rest up!!
