How is everyone? Cherry did you get snowed in? How much snow did you get?
Serenity I don't know about you but the sudden weather change did a number in me. How are you feeling?
Hippy it got you too I think....are you feeling any better this morning? Gosh I am so ready for summer!!! Can't say it enough!!
Cindi how are you doing after the injections?
I am fixing lasagna for my brother and SIL for super tonight. Son has a soccer game....I will miss that tonight.....maybe dh will go watch.
I joined a group called documented life project. We are given a weekly art journal prompt. Last Saturdays prompt was on birds. I am posting mine in the photo section in the hen house. Thought I would share what I do since I talk about it all the time. And I kinda like this one.

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...
yessirree, this weather is no good for the body. added to that it sounded like they were using a jackhammer upstairs. i think they're having to repair a lot of damage, but it would've been nice to give me a little courtesy notice. i wanted to see monument men at the matinee anyway, but whew sitting 2+ hours and a 30 degree drop and 30 mph winds knocked me over even with 3 layers on. i thought the movie was great and it was a nice treat. wow, i wish i could have a big chunk of that lasagna! i hope it's quiet today so i can stay home and cook a stew. sortof an irish stew.

cherry, from what i saw this morning you're still in for more snow. i wish the NE could get rid of winter!

He rode with another friend and they got stuck in a snowbank on their way back to town so he wasn't here to shovel the dogs and me out until bout 3:00. I had made an appointment at PT to have my shoulder reevaluated, but had to reschedule. It was so cold and the snow outside my door would have been thigh deep to trudge through!
Yeah...I guess we all need a break from this season! Grrrrrrr

Dixie, lasagna sounds great, it's always been my favorite. I know your brother and SIL will enjoy it and it is very kind of you to do that. I hope they are both doing better and it's good to see they made it home ok.

Seren, Glad you enjoyed the movie even though it must have been a challenge to get out in that weather. I don't know how you do it. I hope the work upstairs gets done soon.
Cherry, it's making me cold just reading your post. I hope the winter weather leaves you soon and you can reschedule the PT for a much earlier date.
Well, I am now beginning to think that my DH might have a point when he fusses at me for putting things off. (You never heard it from me that he might be right.....for once.)
I am two months past due for an inspection sticker on my car. I've been dodging cops like a common criminal. :-) Problem is.......my break light is on and they can't give me a sticker. I don't know what to do first. Fix the breaks-even tho they work just fine- or get the 15 day paper you have to get it fixed and hope the cop will accept it.
I kept putting it off because it is so expensive when you can only go to the dealership to fix any problems. And now I have to worry that I never went to the DMV to take an eye exam after my surgery. So when I get pulled over for the expired inspecion sticker they are going to ask me why I'm driving without glasses?? I'm feeling another ticket happening. I have GOT to stop putting things off.
I did try twice in one day to get an inspection.....but the guy was never there.
