Morning my lovely Hens,
I'm going shopping today! No money to spend...well mine is going in gas but I am getting out and getting away for the day! Going to Paducha, Ky about an hour and a half away. Nice drive and get to play with my new toy....GPS:)
We are even taking sandwiches so we don't have to eat out....that's how broke I am lol. I really shouldn't be spending the gas money either but I'm desperate. It will cost me a quarter tank of gas....that's not too bad.
So what are you hens up to today?

i had a nice outing yesterday. it was so pretty i got off a stop early and window shopped. this break in the weather sure makes a difference. i had a really fun dream which was uplifting even though the fire alarm went off around 3am. today the mobile market comes by so i'll get a few veggies to cook up and try to force myself in long enough to clean a couple of rooms. think i have spring fever!
wishing i could share this break in weather with cherry and others still in the depths of this awful winter.
Dix, Sometimes you just got to say to hell with it and go for it! Enjoy your day out, you both so need it ! Ive goggled and i'm up to speed, google spelt it ...Paducah if i got the place right.
Seren, Snap! Me too, i have the spring cleaning bug, i'm also painting everything insight at the moment. Ive done the down stairs toilet and now i'm working on the bathroom, after that its the hallway and landing, my biggest job.
Its keeping my mind very occupied at the moment and i so need it......
Has anyone who's got kids let their girlfriends or boyfriends stay over?
My son is 21 this year and his girlfriend stays over and i find the whole thing quite amusing in that i seemed to have inherited a teenage daughter! She's lovely but my hair dryer and straighteners are not mine any more, and my shampoo and shower gel, also not mine lol.

It is fun to "create" a cost free day. I think of lots of ideas here in the summer. Other then bring our own food and gas we love it.
We had a nice break in the weather today, no wind or cold. So I golfed, really sore now. Took a pill ( tho they are getting low) and have a lidocaine patch on. Hope it works thro the night.
Emp, good luck with son and know we have all been there. I think (blush) my parents even dealt with that situation. Hair products are a bit personal for me!
