89FToday it is again another hot day but cooler then yesterday. Since this is August it is to be expected in my neck of the woods. All the grass is yellow and flowers are starting to go to seed. My Mother keeps putting her hair off for another day. I'm going to tell her that if she doesn't come today, she'll have to wait until Saturday. I've got two back to back haircuts tomorrow and I can't do more than that in a day!
Other than that, keeping the wood fire burning is my only other plan for today.

Get your shopping done Kim, then stay home. That's what I do when we get snow. I hate driving in it.
I'll get hub to go shopping with me today. Milk, lettuce and all the staple we ran out of during this busy season.
We plan to go to best buy and get a lesson on hubs new tablet. I am a bit more computer literate then he is, lol!

Please be careful with getting the stove filled with wood… I sure wish that it could be an easier job for you.

Today is a day of rest and packing for a weekend trip with friends from Indiana. We are meeting half way and rented a beautiful house north of Chicago.
Spending the weekend at at private home will give me the opportunity to rest in our bedroom when I need to.
Which sadly is something that we all have to deal with!
I am wishing that we can all enjoy the day and feel peace and contentment.

Ive had such a bad day, a colleague went sick and i was stuck on the till all day. Every time i rang the bell because of the queue no one came and because i was on there hours i started to make stupid mistakes, ringing in the wrong amount and then not being able to work out what change to give! lol, so embarrassing. i will admit maths is not my best subject.
I'm having serious thoughts about whether shop work is for me, but i have no clue what else to do....
oh well.. sigh...
have to figure out what to do regarding rent and couldn't reach an atty or legal aide today for guidance - i've tried all through the holidays, but it's not great timing. i've tried before and i'll open an escrow acct to put my rent into that until we get this settled. i need advice on a letter to send.
so overwhelmed i can't even think straight except to say hi to all hens. i read the posts, but i just can't reply personally right now.
