Well I didn't lose a chick last night, but I am still very puzzled as to what is getting in there and I can't find where. I'm beginning to suspect a snake.
My mom is coming over today. We are going to play in the art supplies, do a little journaling and scrapping.
Tomorrow is her dr. Apt. Where we find out the test results from two weeks ago.

I'm glad your chick count didn't change overnight...a snake??? Yikes! I've found that mothballs keep skunks from taking up residence under my porches. I wonder if it might work at keeping snakes out if you tossed them around the outside perimeter of your chicken house.
I've been up since 4:00. It's funeral day for my Aunt and I have to carry the bread or wine (which ever is lighter) to the Priest, along with a cousin. I'm trying to hold off on my second med so I'll make it through, but my pain level is pretty high. My recent weight loss is making it a challenge to find something appropriate to wear and my appearance seems to be all my shallow Mother can fixate on....grrrrrr. I'm almost 55 and she still treats me like a child who might do something to embarrass her! It makes me want to! God...deep breath.

I woke up with a #9 pain and after days of non stop, I just can't go into work today. I know I will get shit for missing work again, but let the shit come. I used to go in regardless, but that was when I loved my job. It is so much harder when you hate the atmosphere. Going to pop my entire arsenal of tricks and wrap my top half of my head in ice and back part in a heating pad.

Your mother sounds like someone who belittles you to make herself feel better. As hard as it is, dont let her control you in that manner, your a grown up, you have nothing to prove to her anymore. When my dad gets to me like that i think.... "I dont care what you think and i wont waste my time trying to prove myself to you!"
Me.... Dh has some time off and we went to hobby craft, you could get a small tub of beads for £3 : 50, i filled that little pot with as many as i could, i couldn't get the lid to shut properly! But i got away with it at the till! Well its like pick and mix isn't it, you gotta get as much as you can in the cup provided!
We caught a little mouse from the shed, but my dad let it go in the shed again, lol, he couldn't bear to part it from its family.

Ok day today, golf, that was nice. But got home and daughter wanted a babysitter for youngest, so she could take 3 year old for a movie. I could I say no??
