88FIn 1969 we decided to get married without a big wedding. Most of our friends and family liked large over the top for the time kind of weddings and I did not. First, I didn't see why spending so much money for one day when we have the rest of our lives to live. I have never regretted not having a big formal wedding. Another issue is not liking all the attention. Also, we have gone to big...

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Subject: How Do You See Yourself In 20 Years
I wish I had saved it. One sentence I remember is this. I want to look at a fluffy kitten and see it for what it is and not as a pest.
I believe I was feeling that adults lost touch with the beauty of the world around them.
I am blessed to see eyes wide open everyday what I have before me. It trumps my pain or any other life circumstance.
I wish that you have saved it too. How DO you still see yourself in 20 years?
Who can see a fluffy kitten and not as a pest?? They can be a pest.....and they can be anti-social. That is what I don't love about a cat.
Sending you hugs and hoping that you will soon be able to get intouch with the beauty around you....and it trumps your pain or any other life circumstance.

I don't watch the news and it is not because I can't handle it, but because it is unecessary to bring in the sensationalism of other peoples suffering that will break up the peace within myself. When I am peaceful within, I can make peaceful changes to people around me and that ripples outward for positive changes.
If I expect abuse, I see and get abuse at every corner. So, if I expect love and kindness, I will see, get and cultivate love and kindness at every corner.
I've totally turned my life around and seen others do this too just by an adjustment in attitude.
Great post, Kim.
