We haven't done one of these late day threads in a while so I thought it was time. There's a whole lot of hurt going around and I think it's easy to forget everything else. I know I'm guilty of the majority of whining, as of late.
After a little rest time, I was able to rally and get my oldest Aunt's hair cut this afternoon. She's 95 and her mind is right where it's always been...amazing! The poor thing has shoulders and knees that have deteriorated beyond anything her doctor had ever seen in an x-ray. She's way too old to have anything 'fixed' so she takes Celebrex and suffers. Humbling...
I have a nice woodfire keeping me plenty warm and no more work until 8:00 tomorrow morning (I don't count the preparation work) s oall is good.

I stood up to my boss and told him I was fed up with Germany HO pushing to take away my Manager title again, so they can keep their stupid Euro titles. Being called "team leader" just doesn't call up a vision of respect on this side of the pond, and I won't have it. Felt good walking out of his office. I also believe that I have found that assistant I so need. Hoping this time it works in my favour.

Cherry glad you got that rally and thank you for the end of the day post. I usually end up posting on the agenda post at the end of the day. How wonderful your aunt is sharp as a tack.
Serenity I am wishing you dad continued recovery. I have wondered if the meds they are giving him might be causing further confusion. This happens a lot in hospital environment . We had an elderly friend who became extremely disoriented and when I had a doctor called. In and his meds were looked at there were two he wasn't receiving plus he had not received his diabetes med on time and his blood sugar was off. Asking the guardian angles to surround him.

Hope you all have a good day tomorrow. I plan on resting tomorrow. We did the cake and cupcakes for our grandson's big five birthday. I also put together a dozen gift bags. Started this on Thursday by shopping for the bags and buy what I need for cupcakes and cake, I am just plain pooped out.
