Hello Hens...
I got up for the third and final time at 3:00 am. It's a bit after 4:00 now and I'd crawl back in bed to watch the news if I didn't have dishes in my sink and a client coming for a color/cut/wax at 9:00. I wrecked myself by fussing over my Mom's hair for an hour and a half yesterday and it looks like I'm about to ruin another day. I was truly ill by last night.
I turned the tv on at 3:00 to find that not only is the East coast of the country is being devestated, but an earthquake in Western Cananda is causing a Tsunami that's about to hit Hawaii in a few minutes! What is going on???
Where I live, there's a high wind warning for tomorrow morning into Tuesday. Rain will be starting today and there's no sign of it stopping until next Saturday. There will be widespread power outages, downed trees and damage to buildings...especially the older ones like mine. I have several trees hanging over one side of my house! They may be on my roof the next time I report.
Be safe, everyone. It's time to bring in the chickens and secure the coops.

Its sad isn't it, all these things happening in the world today, sometimes i get to wonder if the world is dying, but then i think there's always been things happening throughout time, i mean, we got through an ice age didn't we? So we are strong and we will survive, mankind is amazing! We are awesome!

We are going to church this morning and then out to eat. I would rather stay home but of course I was out voted:(
Happy Sunday everyone.
i don't know why, but i woke a lot last night, but got back to sleep. i was aching even in my feet, but couldn't get my heating pad on...i set my alarm in time to make it to church, but couldn't get up.
i'm so glad not to be in a hurricane zone having been through a few and pray for all those who are.
I love a good storm, but this would be too much.
Off to golf with hubby and friends. First time with hubby in 18 months, so should be fun;)!!!

My bother inlaw is on a job in Hawaii and I called sis. She found out at 3am PST that they weren't evacuating and the waves were not as bad as anticipated. My BIL is a surfer and I wouldn't surprised if he gets some good waves during down time .
My DS friend littleb has two daughters in New York. One Long Island and the other upstate. Our new member Sammycat lives upstate New York. Cherry I am hoping the power stays on for you.
Serenity I am sorry for your extra pain. I don't think I could live without my heating pads and warming blanket.

Dixie out to eat sounds good. Hard pews not so much. Ours are padded but doesn't do my neck any good.
