The other half is in the kitchen as i type, and is cooking a joint of pork with roast potatoes for our tea! Shame he's not that great with yorkshire puddings, i would have got him to make those as well! Its smelling ok so far!

good morning dixie, sounds like a sporty day!

i was awake again during the night from nightmares and missed church...i have residual anxiety...don't know what's going on. i'm watching old movies and trying to distract myself.
planning another walk. i can tell it's helping my legs. maybe i'll tidy more to get through this nervous feeling. there's plenty of that waiting for me!

There's a flurry of cleaning and painting activity going on next door. My Parents were here just after 9:00 and Dad (as usual) couldn't remember what h was supposed to be doing. I directed him to the repair job on the wall, gave him instructions and he was fine.

The place was coated with sheetrock dust, but I think we've finally got that under control. My Sister showed up about an hour ago and took charge! God...that makes Mom mad. They boh like the top position in any situation so you can imagine what that does to the energy of the room.

My oldest Son hasn't come near the place even though it was his employee who caused all the damage. I really didn't dare hope that he'd come to my rescue.

It's raining again and the report shows it right through Wednesday. It's hard to feel motivated when it's aches and pains weather.

good afternoon hens,

i am on moist heat for my neck. the barometric pressure is falling and for some reason that is a big trigger for my neck. we have cooler weather. there is much to do here but i don't think i am going to make it. if i can accomplish a nice bath i will be happy.

serenity i have always had success with getting rid of anxiety when sorting and cleaning. it is a hard one though when pain is going on. for me now that causes a lot of pain with my neck. i hope this works for you and your day is better.

empathy that joint of pork sounds wonderful. how nice to have your mate cook for you. mine does that sometime. for me it always taste better when someone else does it. i am glad you are taking a bit of rest.

cherry thank goodness for family!!! i can imagine on the energy level of the room with mom and sister. maybe they will try to out do one another and the job will get done quicker.
yes the rain and dampness equals more pain. Ouch!!

dix i occasionally watch football. last week i watched the saints (new orleans) play kc cheifs.
my entertainment was watching the challenges the teams threw out to the referees. a lot of calls were challenged. in the end it is all too stressful for me. i get too involved and competitive for the team i am cheering for.

well after hearing about empathy's pork I am going to get some pork tenderloin out of freezer and do a quick defrost. then i will put in slow cooker and let it cook overnight.
must have that. sounds good for this cooler weather.

Love football and I watch CFL and NFL whenever I can. I'm making a big roast today. I went to a popular public market today and Jim was called out to help a busker as he poked fun at him and whipped raw spaghetti out of his hand. Then he was asked to hold a ladder so while the fellow climbed up to do a whip trick and he had to trust Jim not to drop him (Jim is very muscular). It was so much fun to watch the show with the crowd.

I just love reading about your days and the details you put into it. Cherry, it is like I am there watching your family in the room with you, and seeing the progress as your life unfolds into the future.

Serenity, I just want to give you a big hug and chase that anxiety away. I used to struggle with that and I know only time and determination will get you through.

i cleaned three areas (mostly) bit by bit and then the fire alarm went off again. just took a walk while i was out. it's happening too often!!
played a relaxing video game and chatted with a friend which helped, ate leftovers which was fine.
