Morning Hens,
How's your weekend going? Mine is more quiet than usual... No extra kids:)
The boys and I went shopping yesterday. They got two pair of jeans and a shirt each and I bout two shirts for myself. I rarely ever buy myself clothes and then after I got them home I was wishing I hadn't... After all... I never go anywhere:( but I really liked them. Maybe my husband will take me out when he comes home and I can wear one then.
Then we stopped at the video store and rented movies. I fixed supper and my oldest stopped by and ate with us. Actually he's been visiting on a daily basis since he put some more calves in our field. He bought 5. They are so cute!
At 10:30 we had a visitor. A stray cat came to the door. Really cut tabby with white face. We fed him. He wanted in the house real bad. He was acting as if he was scared to be outside. There were dogs barking across the field and he was real jumpy. I wonder if he ran out of his house somewhere and the owners are looking for him. I didn't dare let him in. I hope he went back home. Or at
Least went to the barn and made a bed in the hay. I haven't seen him this morning. I felt so sorry for him being so scared and he had a hurt paw. I felt of it and didn't feel anything sticking in it. Hopefully he went back home.
Nothing happening here today.

Just chilling today
A bit disappointed today. Stay with a friend, guys golfing. We ere suppose to explore the town and shop. She left for work before I could even get a shower. Said shell call, but knowing her she'll call in 5 hours. Oh well I have a car, but don't know this town. Can't wait to be home Tuesday.
Hope the kitty made it home. I'd have hundreds of stray if let them in. Hopefully she has. Family.
Enjoy chilling. I guess I'll do the same.

dixie, i hope the barn worked. it's so hard not to take in strays. don't have to deal with that any more. enjoy your new tops.

i made a nice salad and baked a sweet potato...forced myself to take a walk. i really hope i'm not getting sick, but feel pretty bad. no real news on my dad.
I did manage to get my oldest Aunt's hair cut and set. She never gets out in the Winter so I try to remember that when I whine about cabin fever. She's going on 96 and her mind is perfect. She was a hairdresser for many years and her knees and shoulders hurt her constantly...yet she worries about me. Maybe it's because of all the family members in my generation, I'm the only one who went into hairdressing and also the only one who makes killer doughnuts...just like her!
I see my doc tomorrow...whatever. I don't even know what to say to her, anymore. The side effects from my meds are very difficult to deal with, yet I still don't have anything even close to pain management. I don't expect to be without pain, but I'd like to feel that life is worth bothering with.
Crawling into bed with my little, furry family. hoping that kitty is ok, Kim.
