It's 2:30 am and I can't sleep, so I thought I'd start this.
Today Chris and I are going to go look at wigs for when she loses her hair next month with the treatments. I'm going to look into hair extensions for my stringy short hair that never grows.
We are also going to drive around the city and do some shopping and then go the hockey try-outs for her teen daughter. Hope she kicks butt and gets on a good team.
Finally, girls night out with four of Chris' sisters and a few others. A real fun group of women.

We are off to blockbusters to hire out some films, a quick look round the charity shops, a quiet weekend suits me.
I was up a good share of the night... got to hear the rain and wind at 3:00 AM. The days are getting shorter so quickly. It's a long wait for daylight.
I'm going to try to get the haircut done that I wasn't able to do yesterday. I'm certainly not making a living like this. The woman interested in renting my apartment is coming wih her Son this weekend. They know it isn't quite finished, but want to check on the size and all else before giving her notice. Fingers rossed that it's what she's looking for.
I had a cord of firewood delivered yesterday and I'm trying to rally some Sons to help! Grrrrr...always busy... My Grandaughter was the best worker last year so I know I can count on her.

the weather is nice here and i'd really like to sit by the river, so i'm hoping that i can get pain down. woke up so early that i forgot to take pain pill hoping for more sleep. i was able to get chicken and veggies cooked last night, but i was so tired i didn't pack it into containers, so i'll do that and have dinners prepared for week. (it's safely covered in fridge!)

Empathy I too love looking at charity shops. Hope you find a real treasure!
serenity I admire you for all the work you get done. I wish I could plan meals the way you do and have it all done. I'm learning to use my crockpot more and that has been a help.
I'm off to the sale barn in a while. I want to see about getting some young pullets.Wish me luck :)
