Morning Hens,
Well we have an artic front coming in. It is suppose to be colder here than it has been in 15 to 20 years. I have to get out to get my youngest some veggie burgers and protein shakes and then I am hibernating til it passes!
Dh is leaving out for a week in the truck. He bought me. Zutter bind it all yesterday for our anniversary. It is a ring binder to bind books. So I can make my little journals now with ring binders instead of having to hand sew them all.:)
Can you believe Littlebit has grown back a claw! I am not a happy camper! But it does happen. The first cat I ever had declawed grew back 3 after being declawed. Simba and Nala have not grown back any.
So what are you hens up to today? I am going to make a journal just so I can play with my new toy.

It was -21 when I got up at 4:00...up to -17 at 8:30. I have a cord of wood dumped in my driveway and trying to coordinate help around temperatures and schedules. I feel so useless. I'm hurting like crazy and just going up and down the stairs to load the wood stove is too much.
Excuse my whine fest...that's all I've got.
Cherry- I am so sorry that who ever brought the wood did not put some in your home. That is too much to carry it up yourself. You have the floor - continue your whine fest!
Me, I went to doctor and found out I lost weight over the holidays, TG, thought for sure I had gained some. They are putting me on 2 new meds trying to help get the 24/7 extreme headache under control. It has not stopped since the car wreck a year ago. Truly hope this at least lowers the pain.
Stay safe my northern friends. The weather is crazy up there. It is cold here, but thankfully no snow.

Ive been to the charity shops to see whats on offer, most pple have a clear out after christmas dont they. I found a pair of dark purple cord trs, love purple : ) Also got 3 dvds.
Done some washing and tidying and helped my son apply for a job online, please pray hard for him ; )

Lol, today i braved the scales, was dreading it, ive only put on a couple of pounds since last august, phew! All that chocolate i ate over Christmas!!
cherry, i saw the national weather and felt for you. i can't believe you have to carry that heavy wood to stoke your stove. i wish you had a tenant who'd do that for you. i hope you get some relief from the pain.
RJ, glad the scales had a happy surprise for you. now to get rid of that headache. sure wish they find the cause and take care of that.
empathy, i hope you don't float away. i know you love your garden. good idea to get out to the thrift shops. it's like a treasure hunt to me, too.
i'm still living in a chaotic limbo. when i got home from the grocery store yesterday my bathroom was flooding again. that was the last straw. i finally got to talk to the manager around 7 and had her come up here and see the damage. a mildew treatment and carpet remover is supposed to be here monday. i'm so tired of this mess and extra stress. i can't get much of anything done, so i'm just trying to maintain. the upstairs tenant will be kicked out 1/13, so they'll start work after that. %)
Glad the landlord is listening, wish they would fix it sooner for you.
Empathy- I used to love to hit the thrift shops after the holidays. I hope the rain slows down for you.

Cherry, I hauled wood with Dad, but I was at least 30 years younger. Hope u get help.
Seren, boy I feel for you. Please get this solved in your favor soon. I know from personal experience, mold is not good for you. I think half my systems went awY when I move away from mold.

RJ, no fair losing weight durning the holidays, but yea!
Today, hubby working on addition. I was still fighting this flu, can't seem to kick it. I feel so useless trying to me "normal", but feeling like poop. My gland on my neck is and feels swollen, but blood work shows nothing out of the ordinary. Go figure.
Well, my vent for the day.
Off to cook dinner. Have a good evening all.
i think i can make it through this. sleep is worse and pain is higher, so i can only do so much.
